JOB DESCRIPTION
  1. Teach Information & Communication Technology (ICT) subject in-line with the Cambridge IGCSE (O-Level) syllabus to Primary & Secondary students.
  2. Plan and prepare lesson plan and instructional materials for both conventional and e-Teaching & Learning.
  3. Prepare, evaluate, and assess students’ assignments, projects, presentations, and relevant assigned tasks.
  4. Monitor and report students’ progress and provide guidance to improve students’ learning performance.
  5. Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice regarding punctuality, behavior, and standards of work.
  6. Responsible for classroom management.
  7. Create a positive learning environment using creative classroom activities to motivate continuous progress among students.
  8. Work collaboratively with Head of Department (HoD) to plan and coordinate assigned tasks
  9. Represent the School by supporting special assignments, ad hoc tasks, and other activities relevant to the school’s goals and objectives.
  10. Participate positively in departmental meetings, follow policies and generally contributing to the effective and efficient running of the department
  11. Promote professional dialogue, share ideas about teaching and learning and support other teachers in developing good practice and new approaches and initiatives
  12. Take part in, and contribute to, INSET activities offered in the department and by the school
  13. Enthusiastically contribute to cross-curricular links and initiatives and activities
  14. Be involved in new responsibilities within the department as part of an ongoing process of professional development
  15. Keep up to date with developments in the subject area, and in education generally

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree /PGDE in Computer Science/Information Technology, Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  3. A good understanding of the Cambridge International ICT curriculum
  4. Teaching certification/license
  5. Fluency in English
