Job Title: System Administrator

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: GHS 8,000 - 9,000  basic per month

Team: Remote Service Delivery team member of the Operations Support Center (OSC)

Tower 2- Tower 2 of OSC consists of Windows based Technologies (Windows Server Administration, SCOM, SCCM, IAM , PKI, Active Directory, Azure,FTP) and hardware support at On- Prem and at AWS/Azure infrastructure. Windows Server administration and Active directory administration takes the prominent share of tasks and tickets in this team, followed by others. We will be looking for someone with good knowledge in Windows server administration and Active Directory, who can be further cross-trained on other technologies. Candidates with work experience in AWS/Azure shall be preferred.

Below is the job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • User management – Create/drop modify users at Windows servers.

  • Active directory users management, configuring MFA, resource and group management.

  • Start/shutdown/Reboot of physical servers and VMs, running in standalone and cluster setup.

  • Adding/removing and modifying resources at windows servers.

  • Alert management-checking and mitigating alerts using tools like SCOM.

  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows based machines.

  • Applying security fixes and patches e.g. SPP.

  • Backup/restore of files and VMs.

  • Collaborate with internal and externals teams and vendors e.g. HP, Hitachi, Microsoft.


    Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree(or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

  • 2+ Years of experience in system administration or a similar role.

  • Basic knowledge of windows based systems and technologies , such as SCOM, SCCM, IAM etc.

  • Familiarity with system administration tools, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, or PowerShell.

  • Basic experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
