Role Responsibilities:

The SAP Basis Consultant will be responsible for the conception, planning, setup, and technical support of SAP centric solutions as well as for their interfaces according to business and technical needs. This role will serve as a SAP Basis Technical Expert in IT Infrastructure for both, the project implementation and production support of SAP system landscapes.

Responsibilities:

• SAP Basis administration and support, technical support, transport management, batch management and production support for SAP environment
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting and refresh to ensure stability, recoverability of the SAP and related systems
• Definition, planning and implementation of system operations - System Refresh, Solution Monitoring and HA/DR solution
• Perform root-cause-analysis, as well as performance management and optimization of SAP Systems
• Proactively analyze SAP environment to detect deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures relating to information systems. Maintain technical infrastructure reference documents such as technical architecture, interface references, hardware and software assets

Technical Skills Required:

• Experience working with HANA databases is required
• Experience with S/4HANA migrations or implementations is preferred
• SAP OS/DB Migration and HANA Certification are preferred
• Strong technical skills in implementation and support of SAP systems in a Windows/Linux/Unix/Oracle environment
• Excellent technical understanding of SAP with experience in BASIS consulting
• Experience with a data center or cloud migration of SAP
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, both independently and as a team member
• Must be flexible with work hours to be able to support system maintenance and other off-hour activities
• Willingness to obtain cloud platform certifications
