Job description
  • S/he determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
  • S/he conducts product evolution by recommending the nature and scope of present and future product lines; reviews product specifications and requirements and appraises new product ideas.
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's products to competitors' products.
  • Obtains product market share by contributing with the Head of Marketing to develop product sales strategies.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product forecasts, special reports, and analyses;
  • Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analysis.
  • Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans for marketing
  • Contributes to product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
  • Contributes to the establishment of time and resource schedules for projects by liaising with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Supports in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training old and new employees.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Prototype development and showcasing to clients to carry them along on development
  • Development of FRD documentation for the technical team
